The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW)

 

SAKSHAM is a digital learning initiative of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India, developed and maintained by the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW), New Delhi. It is a comprehensive Learning Management Information System (LMIS) designed to strengthen healthcare education, training, and continuous professional development for healthcare professionals across India.

The platform provides high-quality online learning resources, promotes knowledge sharing, and supports capacity building through a technology-enabled learning ecosystem that is accessible anytime and anywhere.

SAKSHAM Inauguration

SAKSHAM was officially launched on 10 May 2023 by Shri Rajesh Bhushan, the then Union Health Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

The launch marked a significant milestone in advancing digital learning and continuous professional development within India's healthcare sector. Developed by the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW), New Delhi, SAKSHAM continues to support the Government of India's vision of building a digitally empowered, skilled, and future-ready healthcare workforce.
