About the Department:

     The Department of Management Sciences aims to gather, exchange and apply evidence based knowledge on health system management, policy development, system structuring and health care delivery through activities like education, training, research, consultancy and advocacy.

     The Department offers students and trainees an opportunity to gain, enhance and apply the knowledge and skills required to solve real life problems through professional expertise.

The Department has recently conducted Training Programs as detailed below:

  • Training Course on ‘Communication in Health Care Management for Medical & Allied Health Professionals’, held from January 15-19, 2024
  • Training Course on ‘Health System Management to Strengthen Health Care Delivery Services for Medical & Allied Health Professionals’, held from March 18-22, 2024

Proposed training Programs in 2024-25:

  • Training Course on ‘Communication in Health Care Management for Medical & Allied Health Professionals’ to be held from 9 -13th September, 2024
  • Training Course on Time and Task Management of Community Health Officers working at Ayushman Aroygya Mandir for Effective Health Care Management to be held from 4 - 8th November, 2024
  • Training Course on ‘Health System Management to Strengthen Health Care Delivery Services for Medical & Allied Health Professionals’ to be held from 17 - 21st February, 2025

Other Activities:

  • Research guidance provided to MD (CHA), DHA and PGDPHM students
  • Conducting Extramural research studies
  • Conducting various national level activities
