Health and Population: Perspectives and Issues (HPPI) is the official publication of The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW), an autonomous body of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. It is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access, non-commercial interdisciplinary quarterly journal. NIHFW doesn’t charge any kind of publication fee from the authors. It publishes original research papers, review articles, and papers of scientific and educational interest based on primary or secondary data. The journal focuses on a wide range of topics related to Population and Demography, Health and Family Welfare programmes, Health Communication, Health Economics, etc. with the overarching aim of promoting public health initiatives through the dissemination of evidence-based research.
