List of Technologies Transferred to NRDC for Commercial Application on 14th June, 2007 Investigator: Dr. M.M. Misro
1. Name of the Technology: A process for reducing the motility of spermatozoa and reversing it.
Filed for patent: 205/DEL/2002, March 2002
Patent granted: Granted, August 2006, Patent No. 193931
Field of use of the Technology: Reproductive and IVF clinics
The technology allows slowing down of the sperm movement temporarily for various manipulations, and withdrawal of sperm from the suspending medium restores the sperm motility. The process also helps to select stable sperms which are less prone to the process of oxidative stress.
Development Cost: There was no formal project while developing the technology.
Any component to be imported: Nil
2. Name of the Technology: A method of preparing water based spermicidal vaginal contraceptive of high efficacy.

Two technologies developed by Dr. M.M. Misro
have been successfully demonstrated on 22nd-24th June, 2009 to the company representative of M/S CRYO Cell India Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi which has procured the rights of commercializing the technology for mass use.
Products and Patents by Dr. T.G. Shrivastav
The technologies developed by Dr. T.G. Sirvastav are meant for stabilising immunoreagent in aqueous or on solid phase. The technologies are:
1. Name of the Technology: A storage stable composition containing an enzyme or enzyme conjugate and a method for preparation thereof.
Filed for patent: 1189/DEL/2000, December 2000
Grant of patent: Granted
Field of use of the Technology: Production of thermo-stable ELISA Kits using horseradish peroxidase (HRP) as label.
The technology allows enzyme conjugate to retain its enzymatic activity and immunological activity at 37ºC for three months or more than two years at 2-8ºC. The thermo-stability technology for enzyme conjugate will be universal in those ELISA kits that are based on the use of enzyme HRP as label.
2. Name of the Technology: A storage stable composition for use in immuno-assays, comprising an antibody and method for preparation thereof.
Filed for patent: 1191/DEL/2000, December 2000
Grant of Patent: Granted.
Field of use of Technology: Production of thermo-stable ELISA KITS using polyclonal antibody.
The technology allows, antibody to retain its immunological activity at 37ºC for three months or more than two years at 2-8ºC in aqueous solution.
3. Name of the Technology: A stabilized immuno-reactive substance coated on a substrate and method for preparation thereof.
Filed for patent: 1190/DEL/2000, December 2000
Grant of patent: Granted
Field of use of the Technology: Production of thermo-stable ELISA Kits having immobilised polyclonal antibody on solid surface.
The technology allows antibody to retain its immunological activity at 37ºC for three months or more than two years at 2-8ºC after immobilisation on solid surface.
4. Name of the Technology: Simultaneous immunoassay for quantitative estimation of progesterone and human chorionic gonadotropin.
Filed for patent: 1262/Del/2006, April 2006
Grant of patent: Awaited
Field of use of the Technology: Research and Clinical Laboratories
The technology allows detection of two important analyte (progesterone and human chorionic gonadotropin) at a time. At present, these are being measured separately. This kit is useful for early detection of pregnancy, pregnancy monitoring and detection of abnormal pregnancy like ectopic pregnancy and miscarriage in human, etc.
5. Name of the Technology: Reagent system for simultaneous enzyme immunoassay.
Filed for patent: 1261/Del/2006, April 2006
Grant of patent: Awaited
Field of use of the Technology: Production of Multi-analyte ELISA Kits
The technology allows detection of two analytes at a time.
